- Donor's father was an original project engineer on Western Irrigation District, Eastern Irrigation District, Canadian Pacific Railway Irrigation at Strathmore etc. The donor was raised in Magrath and was in irrigation all his life. He started in 1931 with CPR Irrigation (turned over to province 1946) and retired on October 13, 1978. Mr. Lloyd also broke down dredges in 1937 for scrap, which was then shipped to Japan (16 car loads).
