History Biographical

Moline Plow Company Goods and Frost and Wood were divisions of the North-West Jobbing and Commission Wholesale Company. They were dealers in wagons, farm equipment, buggies, groceries, etc. (see page 8 of 1909 Henderson Directory). Handwritten caption at bottom identifies the buildings as the Canadian Pacific Railway Freight Shed on 1st Avenue between 5th and 6th Street, but the buildings were located on 1st Avenue between 4th And 5th Streets South.

Scope and Content

The freight sheds located on 1st Avenue South between 4th and 5th Streets have a sign above the door of the first building which reads "Frost and Wood". Six men ares standing in the doorway of the building on the left. An advertisement for farm implements is seen at the right of the door of the left building and a horse draw wagon loaded with sacks on the left. Moline Plow Company Goods above the door of the second building. Two wagons are parked in front; one with a Lethbridge Meat Market sign.
