- The donor's father was one of the radio range operators at Kenyon Field. Radio range operators commuicated with aircraft using the airport, and also were involved with meteorological observations. Source: Donor. The first Trans Canada Airlines aircraft to land at Lethbridge was a Lockheed 10A, registration CF-TCB, en route to Winnipeg. The pilot was W.A. Straith. He was accompanied by two other pilots, M.B. Barclay and Z.L. Leigh. Source: Wings Over Lethbridge, by Bruce W. Gowans (Lethbridge Historical Society, 1986).
