- Albertan. Mr. Shimbashi came to Lethbridge with Mr. Y. Hironaka and learned to cook under him. Mr. Shimbashi went on to cook at the E. P. Ranch and in 1915. He purchased the restaurant the Hironaka's owned in Raymond. The Hironaka's sold to concentrate on farming. For history on the Hironaka family refer to the attached on P19790275001-GP.
