- History Biographical
- The hall was purchased from Pearce Flight Training School after that facility was closed. In 1949, the Lions Club in Waterton raised money to buy the hall and move it into Waterton where it was renovated and brought up to building code standards. The renovations and furnishings for the building cost $10,000 including a partial cement basement and installation of year round water and electricity. The hall was dedicated on 9 May 1952 by Archdeacon Samuel H. Middleton. It was the Waterton Lions Club's first project. When the club was disbanded in the 1990s, the hall was turned over to the Waterton Park Community Association. Information supplied by Chris Morrison on 16 November 2007.
