History Biographical
The photo is a Lethbridge Herald record of ceremony unveiling an historical sign just west of Cowley, dedicated to the Doukhobor Settlers who came to the Cowley-Lundbreck area in 1915 and Shouldice in 1926. The unveiling was the occasion for a large gathering in the 'Community Home'. Local village mayors were in attendance, along with the Alberta Minister of Culture, Youth and Recreation Horst A.
