- History Biographical
- Lethbridge city hall, built in 1948, was the first in the city's history to bring all of the departments of the municipal government under one roof. The rapid expansion of Lethbridge in the years after World War 2 meant that city hall was soon too small to accomodate all of the functions of the municpal government, and departments were again re-located to various building throughout the city. In August 1998 the building was demolished to make way for the present Lethbridge city hall on the same site.
