The Interview Was Done As A Special Education Project On Rural schools. - He was born in 1893 in southern Ontario. He attended a country school there and mentions his teacher, discipline, and getting back and forth. He attended school until he was 15. - He came to southern Alberta in 1909. He was married in 1917 and his son Cecil was born the following year. Cecil attended McMann School, south of Wilson. All his children took their high schooling in Lethbridge. - Talks about consolidated schools. - Talks about school taxes. - Names other schools in the area. - Bill was a board member of the Wilson School. - Talks about the wages of teachers during the Depression. - Talks about the students having to come into Lethbridge to finish high school.
