Russian Revolution 1917; the changes that'took place in their lives. German occupation. Oil mill operation destroyed. Peter Vogt, emigrated from Germany during the Catherine the Great's reign. Courtship and marriage of Peter and Pauline. Arrival in Canada. TAPE 1, SIDE "B" Farm life in Saskatchewan. amily (3 brothers) moved to Readymeade, Alberta. Mved to Empress. Bought a farm from the C.P.R. on a crop-sharing plan. n order to pay doctor and hospital bills, Mrs. Vogt raised and sold chickens and vegetables.
