History Biographical
TheAir Mail flight was undertaken by John Endor Palmer and Harry Fitzsimmons owners of the Lethbridge Aircraft Company Limited. The men left Lethbridge for Ottawa in their Curtiss JN-4 Aircraft on 21 June 1922. There was an accident during landing at Minot, North Dakota, and the Curtiss JN-4 was damaged beyond repair. The Mail was sent to Ottawa by train, and the Lethbridge Aircraft Company ceased business shortly after the 25 June accident.
