- North, Roland Philip Muir Q.C. (11 November 1944- ).
- Philip North is the son of Glen Harris and Hazel Muir (nee Baxter) North. He is married to Freda Elizabeth North, and they have three children: Travis Glynn, Susan Elizabeth, Patricia Laura. Mr. North is a member of Lethbridge Downtown Rotary Club, and served as chairman of the University of Lethbridge Board of Governors from 1978-1984.
- Professionally, Mr. North is a bencher of the Law Society of Alberta. He is also a member of both the Canadian and Lethbridge Bar Associations. Mr. North is a member of the Arbitrator's Institute of Canada, and served as Chairman of The Alberta Law Foundation.
