- Handwritten on the inside front cover "John Dunlop, Kelowna British Columbia loaned by (Mrs.) John Dunlop Nee Inzola Hardie. John Dunlop came to MacLeod (Fort) 1898." The Donor is the brother of Inzola Hardie Dunlop. Jessie and Inzola Hardie are the children of W.D.L. Hardie, 1862-1942, Mayor of Lethbridge from 1913-1928.
