- History Biographical
- The following is taken from a promotional message attached to P19901005070. It dates from 1960-1965. "History come to life in towns and cities throughout Alberta as this replica of the famous Concord Stagecoach makes its appearance at fairs, rodeos and local festivals throughout the province". The popular stagecoach is a community service project of the House Of Lethbridge Brewery. It is built to the exact specifications of the Concord that carried passengers and mail throughout the early west. the Concord coaches brought a vitally needed passenger and express mail service to the old Whoop-Up Trail from Fort Benton in Montana up through Lethbridge and on to Edmonton. Today it serves a different purpose. The Lethbridge Brewery invites the public not only to see the old Concord Stagecoach but to climb aboard, have photographs taken, and thrill to the days when "horse power" meant horses.
