- Magrath were born in Lethbridge to Frederick R.Godwin and Annabella Lockhart Magrath, sister of Charles Alexander Magrath. Magrath Godwin was a member of the office staff of the Lethbridge Iron Works prior to joining the service. He died overseas 4 April 1916. See also P19841017005-GP.
