- The boat was designed by Public Works Commissioner Manfred Freeman to control week growth in Henderson Lake. The boat was powered by a salvaged automobile engine, and the cutting blades moved in opposite directions under the water. The boat was not very successful, as the cutting blades were continually clogged by weeds.
