- History Biographical
- The school was constructed to replace the school building destroyed by fire on 4 January 1937. The school was not completed until 4 October 1937, resulting in a delay to the start of the 1937-1938 school year. The school was officially opened by Premier William Aberhart on 8 October 1937. The Coutts Village School featured an auditorium with stage, five classrooms, two staff rooms, and two large basement rooms used for home economics and manual training.
