19871141001 and 19871141002: Shows location of: Island No. 1 in the Oldman River, Henderson Lake, Jail Lake, Trail from Macleod to Lethbridge and various sections of the Canadian Pacific Railway lines with Montana Junction, Lethbridge Station and Whoopup Station marked. Depth of the edge of valleys and ravines, "low land liable to flooding" and "undulating prairie" areas are indicated. There is an area in Section 26 entitled "water". 19871141003: Shows location of: Belly River, Road 9957, Cart Trail, Road No. 8708, Rt. of Wy.No. 13792 From Lithbridge to Calgary, Rt. Wy. No. 10755, Field Book No. 5795, Road abandoned by the Crown O. in C. 2nd May, 1894 and Canadian Pacific Ry. Crows Nest-Pass Branch Entire Map shaded "Coal District" with areas indicated as: "Very Dry", "Open Undulating Prairie", High Steep Hill", "Deep Ravines" and "Long Deep Ravine/No Water in Summer" Landowners and Grant Numbers are indicated in each section.

Sections are numbered. Scale: 40 chains to an inch. 19871141001 and 19871141002: NOTE: The subdivisions of quarter sections shown are legal subdivisions and quarters of legal subdivisions. Bearings are reckoned from the astronomical meridian through the centre of the township. Areas in acres are marked on all lands surveyed, except lands that have been patented. Areas are taken to the banks of the Oldman river. The name of the monument is that of the surveyor who erected or restored the monument. All monuments not so designated were erected or restored by J. Warren. [NOTE: I. stands for old pattern iron post; Wo. for wooden post; Pit. for four pits: M. for mound; S.M. for stone mound; B.T. for bearing tree.] Department of the Interior, Ottawa, 10th November, 1916. Bennett D.L.S. 1911 and W.J. Boulton D.L.S. 1915. Handwritten notes on 19871141001 indicate: "Res'd for General Grazing", an 'x' marks the spot for "Pt. In.Sale 177 File 1748 'C' the Board of Trustees of the Lethbridge Nor. Irr'n Dist of the Pro. of Alb.", "R.P. 32236" and "Xp(?) is clear outside Reserve for General Grazing ...(?)" Handwritten notes on 19871141002 indicate: "Lethbridge Country Club(?) Bird Sanctuary", "Henderson Park Bird Sanctuary. All on Patent Land" and there's a printed notation that points an arrow to "Retained by Canada when Nat. Res. agr'mt became effective. See Plan No. 110 Temp." 19871141003: Dominion Lands Office Ottawa, 15th July 1885. Approved and confirmed by E. Deville, Surveyor General Total number of acres of land in sections, roads, water and total area are listed in the "Contents" section of the map. There is an "Explanation of Colors" section on the map "This line Surveyed by F.W. Armstrong" on east, north and west edges of map and "Plan No. 9390" along west edge. Handwritten notes indicate: "Six-Mile Coulee Road", "Bridge", 28th St. S. and "Coulee (6 miles long)" Handwritten notes in the left margin of the map are mostly illegible.
