History Biographical: Lethbridge Society of Laboratory Technologists, 1953-1964. The organization was founded on September 16, 1953 at a meeting in the home of Dr. R Rainborough. The group was initially known as the Lethbridge Society of Laboratory Technicians. The first executive was composed of president Margaret Morrison (Haig), vice president Isobel Glennie, secretary Violet Shore, treasurer Neva Wilson. In September 1959 a formal constitution was written for the organization. In January 1964 the society disbanded, the Lethbridge members joining with a similar society in Medicine Hat to form a regional organization.
