- History Biographical
- In 1972, the City of Lethbridge submitted a bid to host the Canada Winter Games in 1975. When the bid proved successful, the Canada Games Society was formed in Lethbridge in 1973 to organize and carry out every function required to hold the games, including lodging, security, transportation, food, protocol and other activities. The Society disbanded in 1976.
