- Mrs. Dorothy Rossetti [nee Botsford] was given the name Princess Omoneysa in 1935 at the Lethbridge and District Exhibition, Her daughter, Miss Joan Rossetti, was later made an Indian Princess as well, and given the name Morning Star. Mr. Frederick Albert Botsford, father of Dorothy, was made a Chief as well. Mr. Botsford, in a report in The Lethbridge Herald, "... had been an institution at the YMCA Cap Inuspi at Waterton Lakes National Park since it opened in 1934 and until this year (1958) had never missed a summer camp." When he died on 25 August 1958, Mr. Botsford's family expressed a wish to have him buried in Waterton Lakes National Park. Lethbridge Member of Parliament R. Deane Gunlock and Senator James Gladstone supported the family's request, but ultimately it was turned down and Mr. Botsford was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
