- Raymond Van Hecke was born in Belgium in 1882, and came to Lethbridge in 1905 or 1906. Caroline Van Hecke was born in England and came to Lethbridge in 1919. The couple married in 1920. The full names and biographical information for the Van Heckes were provided by Mr. Alan Lucas of Evesham, England in a e-mail received on 23 November 2009. Mrs. Van Hecke is Mr. Lucas' great-aunt.
