- The original image was the property of the donor's father, Mr. George Van Allen. Mr. Van Allen was a teacher in Lethbridge and Principal of Westminster School from about 1912 and 1914. He lived in a room at the Y.M.C.A. on the corner of 10th Street and 4th Avenue South.
