- The original images were the property of the donor's father, mr. George Van Allen. Mr. Van allen was a teacher in Lethbridge and Principal of Westminster School from about 1912 and 1914. He lived in a room at the Y.M.C.A on the corner of 10th Street and 4th Avenue South.
