- History Biographical
- The Southeast Entrance Road, commonly called the Sunshine Trail or Coutts Road, was known as the Airport Road after the development of Kenyon Field, until renamed Mayor Magrath Drive in 1947. It was the scene of the most monumental traffic jam in the history of Lethbridge when 35,000 people tried to get to the opening of the new airport (information taken from "Lethbridge: Place Names" by Alex Johnston and Barry R. Peat, 1987). See also Lethbridge Herald Collection P19752311002-13-GP for additional Kenyon Field opening photos.
