Frye, “Doc” Swancesky Dean Roscoe Yates was a successful lumber businessman in Warner. He later endowed the Genevieve E. Yates Memorial Centre and served as Chinooks Club president from 1946 to 1950. William Adolphus Roosmale Cocq was a member of the Chinook Club and worked for the Lethbridge Herald where he served as editor. He was also active in community organizations such as Rotary, Chinook Club, and the Imperial Order Daughters (IODE) Harry Menzie was involved as in the Alberta Legal System as either a lawyer or a judge. Menzie would later serve as a city solicitor from the 1930s to 1957. Menzie was an active member of the Chinook Club Colonel James William Frye was a farmer in the Warner and New Dayton area before joining the Canadian military. Frye had a special interest in horse racing, owning a horse ranch in Kentucky and was an active member of the Chinook Club. Valerian Francis “Doc” Swancesky was a physician and surgeon in Lethbridge. Swancesky would establish various practices at Coutts, Sweet Grass, Warner, and Barons before moving to Lethbridge in 1932. Swancesky was also an active member of the Chinook Club.
