- 20261046002-001 - V.J. Harney Chinook Club Cartoon depicting a card game with Chinook Club members D.R. Yates, Joc Marnock, Joe Sutton, Guy Roy, Jimmy Haimes, and A. Beaumont. Dean Roscoe Yates was a successful lumber businessman in Warner. He later endowed the Genevieve E. Yates Memorial Centre and served as Chinooks Club president from 1946 to 1950. Joc Marnock? Joseph “Joe” Sutton worked for the Lethbridge Northern Irrigation District as Colonization Manager. Sutton was an active member of the Chinook Club. Guy Roy was a co-founder of Roy Electric with his brother. Roy was also a charter member of the Rotary Club and Chinook Club. Jimmy “James” Haimes was a Lethbridge city engineer who contributed to street, waterworks, sewer, and electrical infrastructure projects. Arthur Beaumont was a Lethbridge judge, appointed Police Magistrate in 1908, and served overseas with the Canadian Machine Gun Corps during WWI.
