- History Biographical
- Built as a hotel, it opened in 1888 under the name Russell House. In 1890 it was purchased by Malcolm MacKenzie and renamed the McKenzie Hotel, then the Windsor Hotel. It was a rooming house in later years until about 1976 when it was condemned and closed by the Health Department. It was demolished in 1978. In 1984 the Lethbridge Herald donated to the Archives, their negatives dating from 1965 to 1983. The original collection is catalogued chronologically, but a few of the duplicates have been catalogued into the archives' regular photo collection. These images are from the 1984 Lethbridge Herald Collection.
