History Biographical: His father, Gordon Reid Sr. (1894 - 1971?) was born in Wiarton, Ontario. His family would move to various towns in Alberta, before settling down in Lethbridge in 1905. Gordon would join the Canadian army and serve overseas during World War I. After the war, Gordon would begin working at Lethbridge Sash and Door, as well as helping with various farm work. Bryan Reid grew up in Lethbridge before moving to Vernon British Columbia in 1986. He spent his career as a probation officer, retiring as Regional Manager for British Columbia’s Family Justice Services.
