Pacific Grocery was a retail grocery business located at 1424 3rd Avenue North. The establishment opened in 1923 under the name Standard Grocery. In 1942, following a change in ownership to Chew Dong, the business adopted the name Pacific Grocery. The store operated under multiple different owners over the course of its history before ceasing operations in 1980 including York Twoy in 1946. After its closure, the building remained vacant for an extended period and was eventually converted into a private residence in the early 2000s. Sales books track individual customers' credit purchases. Entries usually include the date, customer name, invoice details, list of goods, and the amount charged.
