History Biographical: Kevin MacLean is a former member of the University of Lethbridge’s Student Historical Society, the Black Adders between 1993-95 school years while serving as treasurer for the 1994-1995 school year. Here, the Black Adders would be responsible for organizing various social functions such as a yearly trip to a museum outside of Lethbridge, Halloween Parties, an end of year party, a floor hockey team, a Christmas Party, Movie Nights, and a Pot-Luck Dinner. The Black Adders would also organize a lecture series with various professors from different departments of the University. Kevin explains that the Black Adders were active in the late 1980s before he came to campus, and they took their name from a British TV show, Blackadder. During his time in the society, they would partake in a weekly [jeopardy?] game held in the Student Union Ballroom where it was required to pay a Loonie per table. Kevin reports that the Black Adders would win a majority of the time, causing disdain from some of the other teams Other members during these years include Dr. Janay Nugent and Dr. Kevin McGeough.
