- Notes
- "In 1962, the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada Prime Minister John Diefenbaker’s Minister of Finance announced that the Canadian dollar would be pegged at $0.925 against the US dollar. An election was coming. Opponents of the Diefenbaker government produced novelty currency called the Diefendollar reflecting the price decrease. The plan worked. The government fell to a minority. This particular one depicts Donald Fleming." Downloaded April 15, 2026 from: https://billspoliticalshoppe.com/shop/1962-anti-john-diefenbaker-diefendollar/
