WAFFLE IRON IS SQUARE WITH EMBOSSED DESIGNS TO MAKE 4 FLORAL OR STAR MARKED WAFFLES. 2 IRONS RIVETTED AT FRONT HINGE TO ALLOW OPENING/CLOSING. STEEL ROD HANDLES WELDED TO IRONS. FOUR DOUGH BALLS WERE PLACED IN IRON (1 TO EACH EMBOSSED QUARTER), FLATTENED AND HEATED OVER OPEN FIRE. WAFFLE IRON COVERED WITH LIGHT SURFACE RUST.

MADE IN SWITZERLAND. DONOR'S GRANDPARENTS WERE SWISS, LIVED PARTLY IN ENGLAND, AND IN SWITZERLAND TO CURE CHILDREN'S T.B. WAFFLE IRON INHERITED BY DONOR'S MOTHER, THEN BY DONOR IN 1923 UPON MOTHER'S DEATH (AT AGE 40). DONOR WILL SUPPLY MOTHER'S RECIPE FOR WAFFLES.
