TWO ROUND BRONZE MEDALS. FACE IS SLIGHTLY INSET FROM OUTER LIP. ON FACE, IN RELIEF, IS THE OUTLINE OF ALBERTA. IN THE CENTRE OF THIS IS A CIRCULAR SHAPE. WITHIN THE BORDER OF THE CIRCLE IS "SOUTHERN ALBERTA". WITHIN CIRCLE ARE A TORCH, AND FOUR PLANTS. BELOW CIRCLE IS A BANNER THAT READS "SUMMER GAMES". THERE IS A RING ATTACHED TO THE TOP OF MEDAL, THROUGH WHICH IS A RED, WHITE, AND BLUE STRIPED RIBBON. MEDALS ARE ALMOST IDENTICAL.
