"TENGU" MEANS LONG NOSED GOBLIN. THIS MASK WAS THE MASCOT OF THE TENGU NOODLE RESTAURANT IN VANCOUVER SINCE 1934. THE MASK WAS BROUGHT WITH THE DONOR WHEN RELOCATED TO ALBERTA IN 1942 (?). THE PRIDE OF CUISINE WAS SYMBOLIZED BY THE LONG NOSE MASK. IT HUNG ON THE FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT
