- BABY JACKET HAS BLUE POLO COLLAR, FOLDED CUFFS, AND TRIM AROUND BOTTOM AND FRONT OPENING. JACKET HAS STRAIGHT WHITE SLEEVES AND BODY. FRONT OPENING IS FASTENED BY BABY BLUE RIBBON BOWS AT THE VERY TOP AND ONE-THIRD OF THE WAY DOWN. RIBBON IS FRAYING AT ENDS SLIGHTLY.

PAT AND BILL JOHNSTON WERE CLOSE PERSONAL FRIENDS OF THE ORIGINAL OWNERS OF THESE ITEMS, WALTER SINCLAIR PAGE AND HELEN HACKNEY PAGE (NEE WOOD). WALTER SINCLAIR PAGE WAS BORN IN LEEDS, ND AND MOVED TO CANADA IN 1934 WHERE HE SETTLED IN NEW DAYTON, JOINING HIS MOTHER’S BROTHERS CARROL LEE ATKINS AND RALPH ATKINS, WHO HAD SETTLED IN THE AREA IN 1907. IN 1966 THE PAGES MOVED TO LETHBRIDGE FOLLOWING WALTER’S RETIREMENT. WALTER PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 70 ON DECEMBER 28, 1978. HELEN HACKNEY PAGE (NEE WOOD) WAS BORN IN ENFIELD, IL AND WAS MARRIED TO WALTER PAGE IN 1926. HELEN MOVED FROM NEW DAYTON TO LETHBRIDGE IN 1966 AND REMAINED IN LETHBRIDGE UNTIL DECEMBER 1993 WHEN SHE MOVED TO A LONG TERM CARE FACILITY IN CANMORE, AB. HELEN PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 91 ON FEBRUARY 2, 1994. WALTER AND HELEN HAD TWO SONS WHO BOTH DIED IN INFANCY. THEIR NAMES AND THEIR DATES OF BIRTH/DEATH ARE UNKNOWN AS NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE.
