55 MM DIA. (SHAFT) BROWN QUARTZITE STONE. A GROUND STONE PESTLE. TECHNIQUE OF MANUFACTURE - PECKING & GRINDING. THE HEAD OF THE SHAFT HAS BEEN WORN DOWN. THE BASE HAS BEEN CHIPPED AWAY. THE BOTTOM OF THE BASE IS QUITE SMOOTH AS IS THE SHAFT.
