GUNNER'S BRUSH, WOOD BACK & HANDLE - HEAVILY STAINED. BRUSH HAS EVIDENTLY BEEN REPAIRED, SMALL WOOD PIECE NAILED TO BACK. WOOD IS SPLINTERED. HORSE HAIR BRISTLES. SEE CONSERVATION REPORT.

BRUSH USED TO CLEAN 20 FIELD BATTERY ARTILLERY PIECES. DONATED BY 20TH OVERSEAS FIELD BATTERY DRIVER WILLIAM DUNLOP. DUNLOP EMIGRATED FROM SCOTLAND TO CANADA, ARRIVING IN LETHBRIDGE IN 1913.
