SERVING DISH, STONEWARE, OVAL-SHAPED. INSIDE IS WHITE, OUTSIDE IS GLAZED IN FOREST GREEN. BOTTOM MARKED, "2, MADE BY MEDALTA, 52, CANADA, VITRIFIED, CANADIAN PACIFIC" IN BLACK.

History
ACCORDING TO FRED GREEN, PRESIDENT AND CEO OF THE CANADIAN PACIFIC (CP), THE BAKER WAS DONATED TO THE GALT IN ORDER TO CELEBRATE THE 125TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DRIVING OF THE LAST SPIKE. THE ANNIVERSARY OCCURRED ON NOVEMBER 7, 2010 AND COMMEMORATED THE "COMPLETION OF CANADA'S FIRST TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILROAD AND A NEW CHAPTER IN [CANADA'S] HISTORY."
