- TURQUOISE NYLONG JACKET. HAS A TURNED DOWN COLLAR. FRONT CLOSES WITH A PLASTIC TURQUOISE ZIPPER. EMBROIDERED IN BLUE ON LEFT BREAST IS "LETHBRIDGE ALBERTA WINTER GAMES 1996", WITH THE WORD LETHBRIDGE CREATED FROM DIFFERENT SPORTS IMAGES. EMBROIDERED BELOW THIS IS THE "AGT" LOGO IN WHITE. CUFFS AND BOTTOM OF JACKET ARE ELASTICIZED. THERE ARE 2 SLIT POCKETS IN SIDES OF COAT. INSIDE NECKLINE ARE TWO TAGS THAT READ "FLAG WEAR" AND "L/G". THERE IS ALSO A TAG INSIDE COAT THAT PROVIDES MANUFACTURING INFORMATION AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS.

LUDMILA “LIL” ANNE KEMPENAAR (NEE HRNCIRIK) WAS BORN ON JUNE 9, 1948 IN LETHBRIDGE TO PARENTS VENCL AND MARIE HRNCIRIK (MAIDEN NAME UNKNOWN). SHE WAS RAISED ON A FARM NEAR TURIN AND MOVED TO LETHBRIDGE IN 1963, WHERE SHE ATTENDED CCH, GRADUATING IN 1966. SHE THEN ATTENDED OLDS COLLEGE, RECEIVING A DEGREE IN FASHION AND DESIGN IN 1967. SHE WAS MARRIED TO BENNY TED KEMPENAAR ON JUNE 15, 1968. LIL PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 63 ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2011. THE 1996 ALBERTA WINTER GAMES WERE HELD IN LETHBRIDGE FEBRUARY 22-25, 1996. IT WAS AN EVENT FOR 2500 YOUNG ALBERTAN ATHLETES, AGED 12 TO 17, COMPETING IN 23 DIFFERENT SPORTS.
