1. BOX. ABOVE DIMENSIONS. RECTANGULAR BOX. RED WITH WHITE STARS AND BELLS. FRONT OF BOX HAS A RING SHAPE CUT OUT. IN CENTER OF RING IS A GREEN TREE WITH "MADE IN U.S.A." BELOW IT. SIDES OF BOX READ "CHRISTMAS WREATH" ON A GREEN BACKGROUND. BOTTOM OF BOX IS WHITE; READS "NO. 10-WREATH", IN RED. BOX HAS BEEN CRUSHED AND HAS 2 MAJOR TEARS AND A FEW MINOR ONES. 2. WREATH. 5.5 X 22.5(D). WREATH IS MADE FROM ALTERNATING CIRCLES OF CRIMPED SILVER FOIL AND RED CELLOPHANE. ATTACHED TO WREATH AT BOTTOM IS A LENGTH OF WIDE GREEN RIBBON, TIED IN A BOW, AND A SILVER PAPER FLOWER WITH A RED CENTER. TIED TO TOP OF WREATH IS BLACK THREAD (FOR HANGING). CELLOPHANE IS BRITTLE.

PURCHASED BY DONOR'S PARENTS LOCALLY. USED AS CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS IN THE HOUSEHOLD DONOR GREW UP IN IN THE EARLY 1950S, IN LETHBRIDGE. DONOR'S FATHER, ROLLIE STEWART, BROUGHT HIS FAMILY TO LETHBRIDGE IN 1951, AS HE WAS TRANSFERRED FROM THE CROWSNEST PASS, WHILE WORKING FOR THE ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE. ROLLIE REMAINED WITH THE ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE FOR 22 YEARS, CHANGING CAREERS IN THE MID 60S.
