Scope and Content: Photographs of the grade seven graduating class of 1969 Hardieville school: Ronnie Filgas, Donald Romaniuk, Lilli Reule, Colleen Yamamoto, Alan Goldthorpe, Melody Sallenbach, Donald Nelson, David Cote, Renate Marten, Donald Mehrer, Glen Davies, and Gerald Gamracy.

History / Biographical: Hardieville School opened on January 2 1912. Hardieville school was seperated from the Lethbridge School District 51 in 1922 in which the school came under the jurisdiction of Lethbridge School Division No.7. In 1952, Hardieville School became incorporated into the city's school system. In 1963, the by-laws #20/63 and #21/63 allowed for a new bigger school to be created. The annexation by the City of Lethbridge of the village of Hardieville in 1979 caused a change in the school systems. Hardieville was then incorporated into the Lethbridge School District No. 51. The school finally closed in 1986 after much debate between the School Board and the Hardieville community.
