History / Biographical
The Rotary Club of Lethbridge was founded in 1918 as a local branch of Rotary International. Rotary is a community service club involved in a variety of projects benefitting the community.
Scope and Content
The fonds consists of minutes of executive and general meetings of the Rotary Club of Lethbridge, financial records, newsletters, club histories, correspondence, membership records, scrapbooks, certificates and awards of merit, constitution and bylaws, records of local Committees, and materials from provincial, national and international conventions. Includes photographs of conferences, club-sponsored social activities, portraits of club presidents, and recordings of an interview with Paul Harris, founder of Rotary, and a 1978 citizenship banquet sponsored by Rotary.
