A BLACK, DISMANTLED BAUSH & LOMB CO. SLIDE PROJECTOR USING KEROSENE FLUID. MAIN BODY IS NUMBERED "31578". PLATE ON SIDE "BAUSH & LOMB OPTICAL CO., ROCHESTER, N.Y. MADE FOR THE TOPLEY COMPANY OTTAWA, CANADA". A GRATE-LIKE STRUCTURE APPEARS ON TOP AND A SPRING DOOR OCCURS ON THE SIDE. ON THE BACK END THERE ARE 4 SMALL OPEN HOLES. FOR FURTHER DESCRIPTION SEE PHOTOGRAPH. 3 CYLINDRICAL RINGS. MEASURES IN WIDTH: 4.1 CM, 2.9 CM & 2.9 CM, ALL BLACK AND SAME DIAMETER. AN ACCORDIAN-LIKE BOX 12.7 CM X 12.7 CM IN SIZE. MOST LIKELY A FOCUSING DEVICE. 4 STRUCTURES SIMILAR IN APPEARANCE TO CORNER BRACE FUNCTION IS UNCERTAIN. ROUND LENS 8.9 CM DIA. CHIPPED ALONG ONE SIDE WITH A FEW CHIPS ON OTHER SIDE. FACE HAS A FEW LIGHT SCRATCHES. ROUND MIRROR ON SPRING LOADED DOOR HAS A FEW CRACKS IN IT.
