HYDRANT FEATURES 3 SCREWED CAPS, REMOVED FOR COUPLING FIRE HOSES. 1 SHUT-OFF VALVE TOP MOUNTED. INSPECTION PLATE C/W 6 BOLTS. PAINTED RED, YELLOW. PROBABLY MADE IN A SINGLE CAST PROCESS. THREADED HOSE COUPLINGS & SOLID BRASS VALVE. LEAD PACKING. CREST EMBOSSED ON FRONT LETTERS; LETTERS ILLEGIBLE.

SERIAL NUMBER "M93907" IS STAMPED INTO THE BOTTOM OF TRIGGER GUARD. RED PAINT SPLOTCHES ON MUZZLE SIGHT. 8 SHOT CYLINDER. 2. HOLSTER. 24.2CM (L) X 11.0CM (W) X 4.5CM (T) BROWN LEATHER HOLSTER. HOLSTER IS SINGLE PIECE WITH STITCHING ALONG LEFT SIDE. HAS CLOSURE STRAP WITH STEEL SNAP AND HORIZONAL STRAP AROUND MIDDLE HOLDING BELT LOOP AT BACK. STAMPED INTO LEATHER ON BACK NEAR BOTTOM IS "1-C" AND "HALLENGER" WITH "GEO. LAWRENCE CO. PORTLAND ORE." AND "507".
