SQUARE, BURGUNDY. CONSISTS OF A SQUARE PIECE OF CLOTH, WITH TASSELS TIED TO EACH SIDE. EACH GROUP OF TASSELS IS TIED THROUGH A SMALL HOLE ON THE EDGE OF THE SCARF. THE GROUP OF TASSELS IS THEN CROSSED WITH THE GROUP ON EITHER SIDE, AND TIED IN A KNOT, AND THEN REPEATED, TO FORM A CRISS CROSS PATTERN. SCARF IS OTHERWISE PLAIN, EXCEPT FOR SOME WHITISH STAINS, MAINLY ON ONE SIDE. TASSELS ARE TANGLED TOGETHER.

RECTANGULAR, BLACK. CONSISTS OF A PLAIN BLACK PIECE OF FABRIC, WITH BLACK TASSELS TIED TO EACH SIDE. TASSELS ARE MADE UP OF 8 OR 9 SMALL GROUPS, THAT ARE TIED THROUGH SMALL HOLES IN EDGES OF FABRIC. THESE 8 OR 9 GROUPS ARE THEN TIED TOGETHER PART OF THE WAY UP TO FORM LARGER GROUPS OF TASSELS. RIGHT SIDE OF FABRIC IS A SHINY BLACK; THE WRONG SIDE IS A DULLER, MUTED BLACK. SCARF IS WEARING THIN IN SOME PLACES.

RECTANGULAR (VERY LONG); PAISLEY. CONSISTS OF A SINGLE PIECE OF CLOTH WITH AN INTRICATE BURGUNDY, BEIGE, AND YELLOW PATTERN. PATTERN AROUND EDGES OF SCARF IS DIFFERENT THAN CENTRE, TO FORM AN 11 CM WIDE BORDER. THE TWO SHORT ENDS OF SCARF HAVE BURGUNDY TASSELS. EACH GROUP OF TASSELS IS TIED THROUGH A SMALL HOLE ON EDGE OF FABRIC. EACH GROUP IS THEN SPLIT INTO TWO AND CROSSED OVER THE GROUP ON EITHER SIDE OF IT; THIS IS THEN REPEATED, TO FORM A CRISSCROSS PATTERN.
