History / Biographical
James Dennis Brindley was born in Lethbridge in 1904 He attended Olds School of Agriculture in the 1940s and farmed in the Lethbridge area. He married Alice Louisa Brindley (d. 1971) He died in 1996.

The fonds consists of prize ribbons, newspaper clippings, photographs, magazine articles, school yearbooks and report cards from Olds School of Agriculture, financial records, and funeral programs of the Brindley family.

Don Goodes lived in Lethbridge in 1990-1991, working at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery. Being witness to several demolition projects in the city, he took a series of photographs documenting the process. Many of the resulting prints were combined (taped together) to produce panaramic images of the sites.
