Pictures and stories. There are four named pictures: Mike Oka, Running Sun, Heavy Shield, Running Coyote. There are two framed sets of stories, one as told by Mike Oka, the other as told by Running Sun. In front of the wall display is a plaque. Caption on display plaque reads: Old-Time Blackfoot Indians Whose life stories tell of Indian wars before the Police came in 1874. These parties travelled on foot, expecting to return with enemy horses. They were a proud, independent people who withstood the fur companies and the first whites until the coming of the brigandage of the whiskey trade, which murder and robbery caused the formation of the first Mounted Police. The Blackfoot appreciated the Polices' efforts on their behalf and refused to join Sitting Bull's 4000 victorious Sioux warriors after the massacre on Little Bighorn. Sitting Bull's intentions were to wipe out the American Cavalry and later the entire western white supremacy. Crowfoot's friendship and trust in Col. Jas. F. MacLeod was the means of avoiding what might have been the major Indian War of Western History.
