Scope and Content
The photographs related to sports in Southern Alberta used to be displayed at the ENMAX (formerly Sportsplex) Centre in Lethbridge. The series contains hockey photographs, from Southern Alberta teams and locally born professional NHL players. Many of the prints originated from Ken Ringland, President of Ringland and Meredith Insurance Company in Lethbridge, an active participant and supporter of the local sports teams. The donation also included 3 cassette tapes, 2 folders of St. Michael’s General Hospital's emergency plans (includes Archer Memorial Hospital in Lamont, AB) and “Operation Teamwork I” observation plan study (1958). Also included an ink sketch of an unknown (Catholic?) church gifted by a town concil in 1991.
